Shelter and Weather Relief
At SVdP we have a long-term transitional housing for adults with disabilities, veterans and seniors experiencing homelessness. We have an adult emergency shelter for individuals living near Washington St. in Downtown Phoenix who are interested in getting back into permanent housing. We also have temporary summer heat relief shelters around the Valley.
Transitional housing for older adults
Call the phone number listed to begin the pre-screening process. Then you will have to come in for a second, face-to-face interview with a case manager to ensure that you would be a good fit for the program. There is no cost if you don't have any income otherwise the cost is 30% of income for residents. Veterans should work through the VA to enter the program. While in the program, a dedicated case manager will work with you to make sure you have all your paperwork in order and help you find an affordable place to live.
