OVERCOMING AND PREVENTING HOMELESSNESS

Family Eviction Prevention

By appointment only, Monday-Friday
(602) 261-6836

For families of incarcerated breadwinners, we prevent homelessness by providing direct assistance so utility shut-off and eviction can be avoided. For families of incarcerated breadwinners, we prevent homelessness by providing direct assistance so utility shut-off and eviction can be avoided. We work with the family's SVdP Parish Conference and take advantage of the perspective gained through home visits.

When possible, we co-fund with other agencies and target our one-time family assistance to those who have the potential to regain self-sufficiency in a relatively short amount of time. These decisions are made by two-person teams, after a careful assessment process. This assessment also allows us to offer budgeting advice, referrals and clothing to assist families in meeting their needs until the release of their loved one.
