St. Vincent de Paul's helping the working poor. The Ministry to the Incarcerated/Families assists individuals recently released from prison, as well as the families of incarcerated breadwinners.

For those people recently released from prison, services are similar to those of the Ministry to the Homeless. Because we have fewer clients in this program than other SVdP Ministries, we have the opportunity to be a bit more generous with our time and resources for those individuals who have fulfilled their prison sentence and are ready to reintegrate themselves into society. Our step-by-step plan provides for the following needs:

  • Food
  • Health Care
  • Shelter
  • Identification
  • Resource Packet of Community Services
(halfway houses, recovery groups and job placement)
