Golf for Good outing set for Sept. 11

Support St. Vincent de Paul and the people we serve by hitting the links with your favorite foursome.
On Sept. 11, FirstWatch is hosting the Golf for Good tournament at the McCormick Ranch Golf Club, 7505 E. McCormick Pkwy., Scottsdale, to benefit the programs of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
The day kicks off with a shotgun start at 7:15 a.m. and includes lunch at noon. There will be awards, raffles, auctions and a chance to win a new car. Non-golfers who want to support SVdP can signup for the lunch.

Community Breakfast
slated for Nov. 6
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul will host its first annual Community Breakfast: Restoring Hope through Faith and Love on Thursday, Nov. 6, at the JW Marriott Camelback Inn, 5402 E. Lincoln Drive, Scottsdale.
The breakfast raises funds to benefit the comprehensive services the Society provides to help the homeless and working poor throughout central and northern Arizona.
No other organization in the Valley provides so many services to so many people using so many volunteers. From hunger and homelessness to healthcare, St. Vincent de Paul reaches out to help those in need in the Arizona while providing the community with opportunities to serve the economically disadvantaged.

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul - Phoenix has been serving homeless and economically disadvantaged populations since 1946. Through home visits, shelter, food assistance, employment services, thrift stores and outreach programs, St. Vincent de Paul provides compassion and support to individuals in need, regardless of race, origin, religion or gender. |

| WE ARE IN NEED OF.... |
Men's jeans and shoes, backpacks, blankets, toothpaste and deodorant are needed by the Society of St. Vincent de Paul to assist the homeless. Canned food items, especially high protein items like peanut butter, canned meats and tuna are needed to assist those struggling to make ends meet. Gently used household items, furnishings, and clothing are needed to give to those in need or are sold in our thrift stores to support our programs and services. Financial contributions of any size are always welcomed. We also depend on volunteers to help us carry out our programs. Whether you are able to volunteer once, once a week, or once a month, we can use you! |

Open House/Open Heart Tours
