Officially Proclaimed

*Society of St. Vincent de Paul Community Awareness Week*

Phoenix, AZ –An official proclamation has been issued by Governor Janet Napolitano, stating the week of February 26—March 6, 2004 as the *Society of St. Vincent de Paul Community Awareness Week.*

The *Society of St. Vincent de Paul Community Awareness Week* will also commemorate the serving of SVdP's 30 millionth meal in Phoenix on Wednesday, March 3, 2004. This celebration will take place at St. Vincent de Paul's Henry Unger Memorial Dining Room, located at 9th Avenue and Madison in Phoenix.

St. Vincent de Paul serves hot, nutritious meals to individuals and families in need 365 days each year. SVdP has not missed a day of serving meals since its first meal was served on November 20, 1952.
