St. Vincent de Paul accepts cars, boats, trailers, mobile homes (with an axle) and motorcycles.

For tax purposes, please note that a new tax law passed January 1, 2005 states that donors are no longer allowed to claim Kelly Blue Book values on donated vehicles. Instead, donors may only claim the amount that the charity receives for the donation. Vehicles are sold through our vendor, who tries to maximize the amount we receive from the sale of the vehicle. In the event the vehicle sells for more than $500, we are required to provide a form 1098-c for tax purposes. In order to report this information to the IRS, we are required to get your social security number.
