2021 Holiday Food Drives
The holidays may still look and feel a bit different this year at St. Vincent de Paul, but they will certainly continue because there are still thousands of hurting Arizona families in need of food and care this holiday season. In fact, the need has only grown this past year. That's why it's so important to help however you can so that no family goes without food on their table this year.
SVdP is keeping it simple and safe for you to help families right in your neighborhood. Below are two holiday food drives you can participate in this year. So, whether it's donating nonperishables for the pantry or supporting food drives with your dollar there is bound to be a way for everyone to get involved.

Turkey Tuesday: Put a Turkey on a Family's Dinner Table
12 News is partnering with AJ's, Bashas’ and Food City to help get turkeys into SVdP's kitchen and the kitchens of families across the Valley! The holiday tradition of the largest one-day turkey drive in the nation continues this year! All month long, you can help give us a head start by making a donation at the register. Each $15 will provide a turkey for a local family in need. You can also donate online or text 'TURKEY' to 474747 right from the comfort and safety of your home.
On Turkey Tuesday, Nov. 23, visit your local Bashas' and Food City to donate a frozen turkey. Those turkeys will be packed straight into a food box and many of them will end up in a local family's home by the end of the night!
Million Meal Crusade: Help Collect a Million Meals
Join our good friends at KNIX to collect a million meals for hungry families in Arizona. Support the drive this month by donating at the register of your local Safeway or Albertsons. Buy 'Holiday Bucks,' which will translate into Thanksgiving meals. If you want an easy way to donate from anywhere, you can text 'MEAL' TO 474747 to get a direct donation link! This year there is also an opportunity for you to get your whole office involved. Raise monetary funds for Million Meal Crusade throughout the month, and during a KNIX Cash Dash (Nov. 3, Nov. 10, or Nov. 17) you can call Barrel Boy to come to your office and pick up the donation.
