Be a Hero to Someone in Need

We Can Double Our Impact Today! Will You Help?

Following serveral days of extreme triple-digit temperatures, St. Vincent de Paul has extended its Phoenix, Sunnyslope and Mesa dining room hours to offer heat relief. With a string of temperatures reaching as high as 110-degrees, the need for life-saving heat relief services is paramount.

Each location will also operate as a hydration station, heat refuge location and relief collection site — offering cool, air-conditioned spaces, along with water, ice and small snacks. Heat relief will be available until August 31 for anyone in need. For more information on heat relief locations in Arizona visit AZMag.gov or stvincentdepaul.net.

In addition to extended dining room hours, CBS 5 is hosting a phone bank tonight 5-7 p.m. to support St. Vincent de Paul's heat relief efforts for homeless individuals and struggling families.
