About the Tax Credit

What is the Tax Credit for Qualifying Charitable Organizations?

1. Available only for donations to qualified charities that provide services to working-poor families; 2. This tax credit is formerly known as the Working-Poor Tax Credit; 3. Amounts lower than $400/$800 also qualify, so a $100 gift qualifies you for a $100 tax credit on your state taxes, lowering your final amount owed.

St. Vincent de Paul is one of the oldest and most respected charities in Arizona, qualifying your gift for a dollar-for-dollar income tax credit up to $400 (for singles) and up to $800 (for married couples). This credit is in addition to the school tax credit, so you can do both!

In addition to the benefit of the tax credit, your gifts go to:

1. Provide hot meals for hungry families; 2. Create food boxes to give someone a boost during a difficult time; 3. Provide ministry to the homeless; 4. Provide medical care and a helping hand for the working poor.
