Imagine what it would be like to go hungry on Thanksgiving. With rising costs around Arizona, especially higher food costs, it's harder than ever for families to afford a normal meal let alone a Thanksgiving feast.

At St. Vincent de Paul we prepare a hearty, home-style Thanksgiving feast and serve it on Thanksgiving Day for those with nowhere else to go. We also put together food boxes with everything a family needs to make their own delicious turkey dinner, and local parish volunteers deliver them to families in need. These volunteers don't just drop off groceries, they meet with each family and give them encouragement and additional support as well.

This Thanksgiving, give more people in central and northern Arizona something to be grateful for.

At the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, our mission to feed, clothe, house, and heal those in need in our community takes on particular urgency this time of year. Our kitchen prepares 7,000 meals each day for our Valley dining rooms and partner agencies—hundreds more on Thanksgiving—each one an act of love.
