Our Neighbors Need Us Now
The upcoming pause on SNAP benefits, also known as food stamps, will impact about 923,000 Arizonans — one in eight people across our state. SNAP usually provides nine meals for every one that food banks supply, so this pause will leave a big gap for families already struggling.
But there’s hope. For every person who relies on SNAP, seven more Arizonans can help.
Together, we can fill the gap.
How you can help:
Earlier this month, we launched our Feeding Our Neighbors Together initiative to rally our state to support those in need.
- Donate to provide meals to families in need. A $25 gift fills a food box.
- Host a food drive in your business, school, or neighborhood. We are especially in need of protein sources like canned tuna, peanut butter and soups.
- Volunteer your time and consider the non-holidays. We feed families and individuals every day of the year and your help is needed.
