Programs at the animal clinic
The Companion Animal Program (CAP), started in 2021 at St. Vincent de Paul, ensure the pets of vulnerable individuals remain safe, together, and well cared for. CAP offers veterinary care, licensing, micro chipping, spay/neuter, and access to pet supplies like leashes, food and beds during quarterly service days that are open to those experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
In Summer 2025, the Marion and Bob Companion Animal Clinic opened a 3,000sq ft clinic space offering basic veterinary care and run in partnership with volunteer veterinarians.
