Warm meals and community
Every night, the NextPhase Family Dining Room at St. Vincent de Paul serves approximately 220 restaurant-style meals to families with children under the age of 18. The dining room has a friendly, welcoming, community atmosphere and serves as a place to connect families with much-needed resources. Including access to social workers in our Family Support Services team, household supplies, food boxes, fresh produce from our urban farms and connection to outside resources for families to help build stability.

Educational support
The Family Dining Room also provides educational support for children 4-17 to ensure that they remain on track in school. This is especially important during the summer when they host a summer program to make sure kids are ready for the upcoming grade level. What your $2,500 donation provides:
- 220 meals for families in need
- A dedicated volunteer experience for you and your family or organization on that day. 30 volunteer positions (servers for Family Evening Meal and tutors/activity coordinators in Dream Center)
- Work with SVdP to create invitations for your family and friends to come serve with you. Consider whether you’d like the night to be in honor or in memory of someone important. Discuss a theme or giveaway to bring joy to families we’re serving together.
