Help Those In Need During the Phoenix Open

Pledge To Raise Money For SVdP Through Birdies For Charity

Attention golf enthusiasts—the Waste Management Phoenix Open is just around the corner!

St. Vincent de Paul is excited to be part of The Thunderbirds’ Birdies for Charity and we’re extending an invitation to you to join us! Thunderbirds Charities is a non-profit organization that raises money through the Waste Management Phoenix Open golf tournament to help those in need in Arizona.

Simply pledge one cent or more for every birdie that will be made by the PGA TOUR players, January 28 through February 3 of the 2019 Waste Management Phoenix Open.

For example, if you pledge one cent per birdie and 1,500 birdies are made, your gift would be $15.00. After the tournament, you'll receive an invoice for $15.00 from Thunderbirds Charities. You can either make your check payable to "Thunderbirds Charities" or provide credit card information. (Do not pay St. Vincent de Paul directly, although we will receive every penny of your donation!)

Below is a table of more pledge examples:

If 1,500 birdies are made my total pledge would be:

1¢ = $15
2¢ = $30
3¢ = $45
4¢ = $60
5¢ = $75
10¢ = $150

There is no limit to the amount you can pledge. The pledge deadline is 5 pm, Sunday, February 3, 2019.

ADDED BONUS! If St. Vincent de Paul collects at least $500 in pledges, Thunderbird Charities will donate another 10%, making your gift go further!
