SVdP's Inventory Control Supervisor founded a farmers market to spread hope to the community

Two Saturdays a month start with a free, early morning farmers market at St. Vincent de Paul thanks to Food Reclamation Manager April Good, who found a way to take food excess and disperse it to the community. The free market operates like a drive-thru giveaway and helps get food every second and fourth Saturday to people who may not necessarily partake in or qualify for other SVdP programs. That's why this month, for her efforts, April Good is the featured staff member in SVdP's Behind the Hope video series. April's story is kicking off this new monthly series dedicated to going behind the scenes and spotlighting the people who make SVdP's mission possible. Watch and enjoy!

Behind the Hope is brought to you by SVdP's Bruce Cooper and Chris Peterson.
