Set to serve 4,000 Easter Day meals

SVdP will provide a special Easter meal on April 5 for people experiencing homelessness

As many gather to celebrate Easter on April 5, St. Vincent de Paul is preparing to welcome neighbors in need with a warm meal and a place to belong. The nonprofit will serve 4,000 meals on Sunday inside its charity dining rooms for individuals experiencing homelessness.

Guests will enjoy pineapple glazed ham, red potatoes, seasonal vegetables and dinner rolls prepared by SVdP’s central kitchen.

“At St. Vincent de Paul, Easter is about more than serving a meal — it’s about restoring dignity and reminding every guest that they are seen, valued, and loved,” said Adam Young, Director of Food Services at St. Vincent de Paul. “Our team works year-round to nourish our community, and on Easter we open our doors with intention — creating a space where a warm meal becomes a place where everyone belongs.”

Former NFL great Nick Lowery will host his traditional Champions for the Homeless event at SVdP’s downtown Phoenix Dining Room, which always includes live music and high-profile volunteers.

If you or someone you know needs an Easter meal, please join us! All are welcome.
