SOM1_KidsCountReport

Kids Count, a recently released report by Annie E. Casey Foundation, shows that Arizona continues to rank low for the overall well-being of its children. The data revealed that in all but two Arizona counties (Coconino and Maricopa), more than half of children live in households are at or below twice the poverty level. Nationally, 23 percent of children lived in poverty in 2012.

Poverty is a complex issue. There is much work to be done in communities across the United States to improve the quality of life for our children. However, the change must begin somewhere, so start in your local community today. Volunteer or donate today to help us Feed. Clothe. House. Heal. children and families in Arizona.
